John Davidson, Assistant Director General of the Office of Development Effectiveness (ODE), is participating in two events hosted by the Brookings Institution in coming months: a workshop on Catalysing Development: A New Vision for Aid (29-30 July 2010) and the Brookings Blum Roundtable on Development Assistance Reform for the 21st Century (4-6 August 2010). Both events will make an important contribution to debate at the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in 2011 and other critical upcoming meetings considering the effectiveness of aid. The Brookings Institution and ODE signed a 2 year collaborative partnership agreement in June 2010.
