  • Getting The Best Out Of Development
    The Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness is currently being hosted in Accra by the Government of Ghana (2-4 September 2008).  The primary intention of the forum is to take stock and review global progress made in implementing the Paris Declaration.
  • Approaches to Anti Corruption through the Australian Aid Program
    The assessment of approaches to anti-corruption in the Australian aid program aims to provide practical advice for AusAID and other Australian Government agencies to integrate anti-corruption objectives into their aid approaches. It provides an introduction to the causes of corruption and lessons from other donors' attempts to deal with it.
  • Annual Review of Development Effectiveness
    The Office of Development Effectiveness launched the first Annual Review of Development Effectiveness at Parliament House on 20 March 2008. The review is part of a new approach to ensuring that Australia directs increases in aid funding to programs delivering real results on the ground.
  • Forum on Aid Effectiveness
    The Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness will be hosted in Accra by the Government of Ghana on 2-4 September 2008. The Forum builds on several previous high level international meetings, most notably the 2003 Rome High Level Forum which highlighted the issue of harmonisation and alignment, and the 2005 Paris High Level Forum.
